Our Story

Hello! I'm Brooklyn, the lead designer and owner of Petal + Stem. We are a studio-based florist specializing in
weddings and events throughout the St. Louis area + beyond! Whether it's a destination event in Arizona or a
barn wedding in the Ozarks, we are dedicated to elevate your event with thoughtfully curated blooms. 

 

My journey with flowers began over a decade ago. I started in high school delivering arrangements for a local florist, and by the time I was in college, I had worked my way up to Lead Designer. While I was determined to eventually open my own studio, life took me on a fascinating detour. I spent 4 years traveling the country pursuing a lab-science career in Cytotechnology—a field that requires intense attention to detail, patience, statistical analysis, and an eye for microscopic elements that make up the "big picture." 

 

Now, I've returned home to the Midwest to plant my roots and continue my floral passion with a unique, refreshed perspective. At Petal + Stem, we use the science of beauty and move with the organic nature of flowers to curate intricate designs perfectly to our clients' visions.
